CMC Sports and Recreation Club awards ceremony today

Sports and Recreation Department of the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) will organize an awards ceremony which will be held on December 14 at 4 pm at the Mattakkuliya Multy Purpose Center (No. 145A, Church Lane Mattakkuliya Colombo – 15).

The awards were considered for annual Inter Community Centre and Inter Playground tournaments which was held in October / November 2023. The Sports will include Table Tennis / Basketball/ Netball / Football/ Volleyball/ Bodybuilding / Powerlifting / Soft ball Cricket and Carrom.

The chief guest of the occasion will be Badrani Jayawardane, the Commissioner of the Colombo Municipal Council.

The winners at the Inter Community Centre and Inter Playground tournaments organized by the playground and Recreation Department will be felicitated on this day. The best players will be awarded and the names of the players who had won in their respective sports events will be announced on December 14. (D.R)
