Health Minister inspects NMRA lab

Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana recently participated in a special inspection tour of the National Drug Regulatory Authority and the National Drug Quality Safety Laboratory controlled under that authority.

This observation tour was conducted with the aim of identifying the working methods of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority and the National Medicines Quality Assurance Laboratory, the duty problems of the staff, the problems of physical resources and human resources, etc.

National Drug Regulatory Authority Chairman Dr. Ananda Wijewickrama and Acting Director Gauri Katriarachchi briefed the Minister the current problems of the National Drug Regulatory Authority.
