Popular Indian artistes stranded in Jaffna due to bad weather

Eleven artistes including popular South Indian singer Hariharan, who came for a concert in Jaffna reportedly got stranded due to bad weather conditions.

The concert was scheduled to be held on December 21 at Muraveli grounds in Jaffna and the organizers have decided to postpone the concert due to the ongoing heavy rain and bad weather conditions.

Accordingly, the organizers have decided to send Hariharan and others to South India, but they are said to be in great difficulty as the flights between India and Jaffna are limited due to bad weather conditions.

Meanwhile, a large number of concerts and events organized in Jaffna for Christmas and New Year have been cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
