“Rally Marians” car rally to raise fund

A motor rally named “Rally Marians” have been launched to raise fund to construct a new building  to the St.MAry’s School in Halawatha.

At a news conference held at Avendra Hotel premises in Negombo the school principal Father Janaka Nishantha, the disclosed that a car rally called (Rallymarians-2024) has been planned.

The concept of this car rally has been presented by Mr. Naleen Perera, the former student of that college and the leader of the famous Marians band of Sri Lanka.

Only 100 people will have the opportunity to participate in the 80 km Rally Marians car rally, which will be run from Halawata to Negombo on the 7th of January 2024.

The first place winner will receive one million cash prize.  And the prize giving ceremony is scheduled to be held on February 9.
