No room for corrupt politicians in SJB – Tissa Attanayaka

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) National Organiser Tissa Attanayaka highlighted that the next Presidential Election will definitely be held within the period between September 16 and October 16 next year and said any politician or any political party that have no corruption charges could join the SJB.

He said SJB will never extend its membership to those who have already violated democratic principles or have committed corruptions and malpractices.

Addressing a youth forum in Colombo Attanayaka said the history reveals that the SJB is a clear political party and its leader Sajith Premadasa also vehemently rejects thuggery, corruption and malpractices.

Mentioning the names of few, Attanayaka said such politicians will not be given the opportunity to contest any election under the SJB symbol. “He needs to bring a clear political atmosphere to the country, and first bring down the escalating Cost of Living for the benefit of 220 million people,” he added.
