Two houses, cars of Kudu Roshan seized from Ja-Ela

The Illegal Assets Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department has initiated an investigation under the Money Laundering Act regarding the illegal acquisition of nearly Rs.100 million of property by Prasad Ruwan alias “Mattakkuliye Kudu Roshan”, who was arrested while on his way from Nuwara Eliya in the Warakapola area.

They reported facts before Colombo Additional Magistrate Pasan Amarasinghe yesterday (28). Information has been revealed regarding a plot of land with two houses worth over Rs.40 million in Ja-Ela, another plot of land with two two-storied houses in Mattakkuliya and a car worth over Rs.10 million belonging to the Kudu Roshan and the CID has started an investigation regarding these properties.
