Yukthiya Operation: 785 arrested

During the special operation ‘Yukthiya’ conducted by the Sri Lanka Police and its Special Task Force (STF) in 24 hours, the following quantities of narcotics were seized.

The narcotics that were seized had 128g of heroin, 115g of crystal methamphetamine (Ice), 8.6kg of cannabis and 138,676 cannabis plants..

A total of 785 suspects have been arrested during the operation.
