Yukthiya Operation: 728 arrested

During the special operation ‘Yukthiya’ conducted by the Sri Lanka Police and its Special Task Force (STF) in 24 hours, the following quantities of narcotics were seized.

The narcotics that were seized had 122g of heroin, 101g of crystal methamphetamine (Ice), 05kg 217g of cannabis, 23,521 cannabis plants and 1,852 narcotic pills.

A total of 728 suspects have been arrested during the operation.
