Man injured in Modara shootout
A 51-year-old person has been injured following a shooting incident at Modara Street in Modara, Colombo, last night, police said.
The victim is a manager attached to a guest house in Modara Street.
An unidentified person who had arrived in a car had shot at the victim near the entrance to a restaurant where he serves as a manager.
The police suspected that a pistol had been used to shoot at the guesthouse manager. The cause of the shooting has not been revealed yet.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Modara police.
