EP Governor Senthil Thondaman opens Pigeon Island ahead of season kickoff

Eastern Province Governor Senthil Thondaman inaugurated the Pigeon Island recently, ahead of this year’s tourist season.

The unveiling coincided with World Wildlife Day, aiming to boost tourist arrivals in the Eastern Province. The Eastern Province Tourism Bureau, Nilaveli Tourism Development Committee, Trincomalee Hotel Association, and Kuchchaveli Pradeshiya Sabha came together to support the event.Eastern Province Tourism Bureau Chairman A.P.Mathan and officials from the Wildlife Department attended the event.
