Gota’s book already sold out, second edition soon

All copies of the first edition of the book ‘The Conspiracy to oust me from the Presidency’ authored by former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa are sold out within the first three days from the launch of it to the market, it was reported.

The book was launched on March 7 even without a launching ceremony. Rajapaksa in this book has explained how different parties and factors acted in a manner to create a crisis in the country causing his political downfall as the President and thus paving the way for his resignation in July 2022 during the Aragalaya, anti-government protests.

He has pointed his finger at several key figures who were very close to him and held key political and security positions of the country during his Presidency, in this book.

The book has been sold out while it was heavily criticized by Opposition political parties and allies.

It was also reported that the second edition of the book will be released to the market immediately considering the high demand from the readers.
