Former Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority Kavan Ratnayake has been appointed as Chairman Bank of Ceylon will assume office today (14). His appointment has been ratified by both the Colombo Stock Exchange and the Central Bank.

Ratnayake replaces Ronald Perera PC who is also the Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance. Ratnayake also served at Dialog and as Chairman Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority and The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd.
