PHIs to inspect food items sold during festive season

About 3,000 Public Health Inspectors (PHI) will be deployed countrywide to arrest errant traders selling outdated and food during the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year festive season.

PHI Union Chief Upul Rohana told, that the program to inspect the quality of food will take place across all PHI zones in the country.
