Azmy heads Akkaraipattu Football Federation

The Annual General Meeting of Akkaraipattu Football Federation (AFF) for 2022/2023 was held at Hallaj Municipal Hall in Akkaraipattu recently. Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) Assistant Secretary M.I.Abdul

Manaf, Treasurer A.F.Seller and Competition Committee Deputy Chairman M.Sinan were present at the meeting.

Akkaraippattu Football Federation including 19 football clubs from Akkaraipattu, Addalaichenai, Alayadivembu, Irakkamam, Thirukkovil and Pottuvil DS divisions in the Ampara district attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Akkaraipattu Municipal Councilor and Akkaraipattu Hijra Sports Club President Azmy A Gaffoor was elected as the new President, Sports Officer M.H.M.Aswath as new Secretary and Addalaichenai Ashraff Sports Club President S.M.M.Nizam as Treasurer.

Nine committee members were also were selected representing the clubs.
