Eight-year-old dies after statue falls on him
An 08-year-old child has been killed after a concrete statue of a giraffe had collapsed and fallen on him in the Diggalagedara area of Hettipola.
The injured child, has succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to Kuliyapitiya Hospital.
The giraffe statue which has been placed in the garden of the deceased child’s house has collapsed.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Hettipola Police.
