Lankan returnee dies of Covid in Jaffna
A 62-year-old woman infected with Covid-19 has died while receiving treatment at the Jaffna Hospital, hospital sources said.
The woman, a resident of Jaffna, had arrived from France recently and was admitted to the Jaffna Hospital with fever.
She had died last Friday and the post-mortem report had revealed that she was infected with Covid-19. The relatives of the deceased have been informed to conduct the last rites in accordance with Covid-19 regulations.
