Last rites of Railways GM today

The last rites of Railways General Manager H.M.K.W.Bandara will be performed at the Borella General Cemetery today (25) evening.

Railway General Manager H.M.K.W.Bandara passed away due to sudden illness while he was on official duty in Anuradhapura area.

His body was kept at the Railway Headquarters building near the Technical Junction in Maradana yesterday (24) till 1 pm in the afternoon to pay last respects.

His body will be taken to A.F.Raymonds Funeral parlour and kept there until the last rites are performed at 4.30 pm at the Borella General Cemetery today.
