IHRGM holds ‘Peace Summit and Conference 2024’

The ‘Peace Summit and Conference 2024’ organised annually by the International Human Rights Global Mission (IHRGM) was held at BMICH, Colombo, recently with the participation of a considerable number of global human rights activists.

Parallel to the Peace Summit and Conference, the service rendered towards the human rights sector and other sectors by a few world-class professionals were evaluated and awarded. Accordingly, candidates including social workers, human right activists, communicators, writers, journalists, film directors, beauticians and other professionals were felicitated by the ‘Man of the Nation 2024’ awards.

Besides, certificates were awarded to new members of the IHRGM in the presence of invited guests. Thereafter, the website of IHRGM was officially launched by Deputy Director of IHRGM of the SAARC region Dr. Bina Gandhi Deori.

Iran Cultural Centre Advisor Dr. Moazami Goodarzi, SAAC Region Deputy Director Dr. Bina Gandhi Deori, Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka Andres Marcelo Gonzalez spoke at the summit.

Representing the IHRGM President Dr. M.A.C. Mahsoom, Chairman Aamir Khan, Directors Kubera Lingam and Abdul Razak and Media Director Fazlan as well as several other local and foreign delegates participated in the summit.
