Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana said he will announce his political decision in Homagama at 5.30 pm today based on the decision taken by the political affairs committee of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) regarding the Presidential Election candidature.
He also said that the right thinking people of Homagama does not approve SLPP National Organiser Namal Rajapaksa calling a meeting of the ‘Bala Mandalaya’ at the residence of former Provincial Council member Janaka Weliwatte yesterday, without informing him who is a senior Cabinet Minister as well as the Homagama District Development Committee Chairman.
Only a small crowd including a few Pradeshiya Sabha members had participated in this meeting attended by MPs Namal Rajapaksa, Gamini Lokuge and Tissa Kuttiaratchchi. It is learnt that they had instructed the attendees as to how they should prepare for the presidential election.
