Man arrested with firearms and ammunition

A 43-year-old person has been arrested with two T-56 assault riffles during a search operation conducted by the Police Special Task Force.

Police said that, the suspect was found in possession of two T-56 rifles, two magazines, 60 rounds of ammunition, a pair of binoculars and a sword.

Further investigations are being conducted by the Terrorism Investigation Division.
