Committed to ensure Ranil Wickremesinghe’s victory at the Presidential Election

The United National Party (UNP) Organiser for the Agarapathana area of the Nuwara Eliya District, Kalyani Satharasinghe said that activities are being carried out in the area to ensure the Ranil Wickremesinghe’s victory in the Presidential Election.

Speaking further, Ms Satharasinghe said that this country was subject to a severe economic crisis about two years ago and that the present President Ranil Wickremesinghe took over this country under those circumstances, and took steps to take the country towards development.

When former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa took over this country, some of the people who are demanding power in this country today ran away without accepting it, and it was present President Ranil Wickremesinghe who took over this country fearlessly in the face of the crises that existed then. She also said that, based on those situations, a majority of the people in this country are waiting to make him the President of this country, once again.
