Eggs to be imported within next 10 days
The Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation stated that the importation of eggs will resume within the next 10 days.
The related procurement activities are currently underway, said the STC chairman Asiri Valisundara.
The Cabinet recently granted approval for egg imports, as local egg prices had exceeded Rs. 50.
