Women’s influence in this country will always be in support of Anura Kumara Dissanayake

The upcoming election is expected to be a historic one that will lead the country toward a renaissance era, said National People’s Power (NPP) National Executive Member MP Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

She made these remarks while addressing the NPP’s “Kanthawo” Conference held on Thursday (8).

She said, “We are nominating Anura Kumara Dissanayake as our Presidential candidate for this pivotal election. We have seen a significant increase in political engagement and empowerment among women who have joined the NPP, and they are stepping forward to take the lead.”

“The National Women’s Conference of NPP will be held on August 25 in Colombo. We are confident that women’s influence in the country will always be in support of Anura Kumara Dissanayake. I invite everyone to work towards ensuring Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s victory.”
