AIA top performers honoured at Sales Convention

AIA Insurance hosted its AIA Sales Convention 2024 in grand style recently at the Shangri-La Colombo, under the inspiring theme ‘WINGS UP – to fly beyond Everest’.

This event highlighted the exceptional achievements of AIA’s top-performing Wealth Planners in an atmosphere filled with motivation and prestige.

Under the patronage of AIA’s CEO Chathuri Munaweeraalong with Chief Agency Officer Chanaka Liyanage, the Executive Committee and Senior Management, the convention brought together elite achievers from across Sri Lanka.

For the first time, all nominees had the special opportunity to invite their parents to share in their accomplishments. The attendees, including Wealth Planners, their Managers, Three Tier Managers and Distribution Unit Heads, were recognized for their outstanding contributions to helping customers live healthier, longer, and better lives.

This year’s convention embraced the theme ‘WINGS UP – to fly beyond Everest’, symbolizing AIA’s commitment to reaching new pinnacles of excellence and innovation. The evening celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of AIA’s Wealth Planners, who have consistently exceeded industry standards and set new benchmarks.

This innovative AR experience included personalised messages from the top six winners, adding a unique and engaging element to the recognition of the best of the best.

Among the highlights, Sanjeewani Somarathna from Kandy ADO was honoured as the Best Wealth Plannerfor the 4th Consecutive year, with K. Piran Kilinochchi and Yashoda Rupasinghe Gampaha securing 1st and 2nd runners-up positions, respectively.

The Best Wealth Planners’ Manager award was won by Thuraj Aponso from Colombo Region 5, while Upul Indika Samaranayaka Moneragala Branch and S.N. Athukorala Tissamaharama ADO won 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.
