EU election observation delegation meets Foreign Minister

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry met with Nacho Sánchez Amor, Member of the European Parliament and the Chief Observer of the EU Election Observation Mission to Sri Lanka 2024, at the Foreign Ministry premises this afternoon (26).

He stated in his X account, “Pleased to receive @NachoSAmor, Chief Observer of the EU Election Observation Mission to Sri Lanka 2024 at @MFA_SriLanka this afternoon. I assured the support of Sri Lanka to ensure an independent and transparent election process @EUEOMSrilanka2024.”
