Maha Bodhi Society President Ven. Banagala Upatissa Thera calls on Indian PM Narendra Modi
President of the Maha Bodhi Society and Chief Sangha Nayake of Japan Ven. Banagala Upatissa Thera on Friday called on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s official residence in New Delhi. Ven. Banagala Upatissa Thera invited the Indian Prime Minister to participate in the 72nd Sanchi Mahabodhi Festival in November this year, which was started at the request of former Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
