Venerable Kirinde Chandrasumana Thera passe away

Chief Incumbent of Delduwa monastery in Ambalangoda and patron of Buddhist monasteries in Kirinda, Venerable Kirinde Chandrasumana Thera of Ramannaya Maha Nikaya passed away on Tuesday (3). The Thera was 81.

The cremation will take place tomorrow (7) at 3 pm at Piyasena Children’s Playground in Polwatte, Ambalangoda. Cortege leaves Polduwa Buddhist monastery at 1.30 pm tomorrow.
