SJB engaged in operation to grab MPs and Presidential candidates for money –MP Mohammed Muzammil

Member of Parliament (MP) Mohammad Muzammil made a special disclosure regarding this in a press conference held at the Rajagiriya New Alliance Operations Office.

Speaking further Mohammad Muzammil had the following to say as well: “During the past two years, the current President Ranil Wickremesinghe was able to create social and political stability. We could see how this economy was rapidly going downhill under the Rajapaksa regime. The current President took this vehicle in hand, hit the brakes and took care of it. But now some people are saying to change the driver.

If that happens, websites like ‘Bloomberg’ point out that the economy will go down a precipice. They also point out that if there is a political change, the economy will collapse again. See what has taken place in Bangladesh recently. They have power cuts of ten hours each. Fifty-four power plants have broken down and are inactive. The garment industry has collapsed. People have taken to the streets asking for jobs. They are experiencing a shortage of pharmaceuticals. The largest group of radical youth have taken to the streets of Bangladesh and created this dangerous situation. Today Bangladesh has fallen into a very dangerous situation. Sri Lanka was on the verge of becoming another Bangladesh. However, the President did not allow Sri Lanka to face a similar situation as Bangladesh.

However, now some groups are preparing for a political gamble. The preparation of Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) is to try to move MPs around because they do not have a base of voters.
