Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday celebrated

The ‘Meelad un Nabi’ Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday celebrations was held at the Ummu Zavaya Mosque Colombo yesterday (16).

It was held under the patronage of Ajward Al Fassy Arabic College Principal and Chief Imam of the Ummu Zavaya Mosque Kaleefathush Shazulee Moulavi Ahamed Soofi.

Ash Seyed Murushid Bawa, Court of Appeal Judge Ahsan R. Marikar, President of the Board of Trustees Ummu Zavaya Deshabandu Macky Hashim, Religious Committee Chairman Fawzan Anver, former Colombo Deputy Mayor M. T. M. Iqbal, Trustees of the Mosques and Ulamas were also present.
