Meelad un Nabi Celebration and All Island Quirath and Hifz Quran Competition Awards Ceremony

The Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo had organised Meelad un Nabi Celebration and All Island Quirath and Hifz Quran Competition Awards Ceremony was held at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, Horton Place, Colombo on Wednesday September 18. It was held under the patronage of Cultural Counsellor of Iran Dr. Bahman Moazami.

Chief Guest of the Ceremony Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Sri Lanka Dr. Alireza Delkosh and guest of honour Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Department Director M.S.M. Nawas, Organising Committee Chairman Al Qari Nuhman Athas, All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama Colombo West President Moulavi Firthouse and Religious Leaders distributed awards and certificates to the winners of the competition.

Also Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Alireza Delkosh presented a memento to the Al Qari Nuhman Athas at this ceremony.

Senior Officials of the Embassy, Judges, and prize winners with their parents were also present.
