UAE President congratulates newly elected President

President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, congratulated Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election as President of Sri Lanka.

In a message posted on X he said “Congratulation Anura Dissanayake on his election as President of Sri Lanka. I wish him success in leading his country and its people to further progress and stability, and I look forward to working with him to strengthen bilateral relations between the UAE and Sri Lanka”.
