Seven students injured in Panadura school lab test

Seven students from a girls’ school in Panadura have been admitted to the Panadura Hospital after sustaining burn injuries during an experiment conducted in the school laboratory.

The affected students are aged 12 and 13. Reports indicate that the burns occurred due to a fire that erupted while conducting a starch testing experiment.

It has been noted that the students suffered burns mainly to their faces and hands, but the hospital spokesperson stated that their conditions are not considered critical.
