Sri Lanka police launch hotline to report fraudulent incidents

A special hotline number has been introduced in order to report about instances and incidents of any inefficiency or fraud taking place in the Sri Lanka Police force.

The Acting Inspector General of Police Senior Deputy Inspector General (SDIG) Priyantha Weerasooriya has requested the general public to inform and report about any inefficiency or fraud related incidents in the Police force anywhere in the country by calling the 1997 special hotline number.
