Cabinet spokesman Minister Vijitha Herath today urged the public to apply for passports at the Immigration & Emigration Department only for urgent matters.

Speaking at the Cabinet Media Briefing, he noted that individuals who need passports for long-term purposes can wait, as the Department has sufficient stock available
