Katina Pinkama of Ashokaramaya temple on Sunday

A number of religious events will take place in view of the Katina Pinkama of Ashokarama temple in Thimbirigasyaya, Colombo which is to take place on Sunday (3).

A series of Dhamma Deshana were held at the temple premises.

An all night Pirith chanting will also take place on Saturday (2) followed by an alms giving on Sunday (3) morning. Katinanisansa Dhamma Deshana will also take place on Sunday (3) at 7 p.m.

The procession carrying the Katina Cheevaraya will begin from the residence of Indika Karunadasa of No, 05 Sulaiman Terrace Colombo and it will proceed to the temple via Jawatte Road, Kassapa Road, DS Fonseka Road and Havelock Road.
