International Access to Information Day and HR Day, commemorated today

International Access to Information Day will be commemorated today at the Tharangani cinema hall at the National Film Corporation under the patronage of Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa in parallel with the Human Rights Day which has also fallen today.

International Access to Information Day is generally held on September 28, every year and the Ministry of Mass Media has conducted All Island School and Open Poster Competition and short film competition concurrently to the International Access to Information Day – 2024. Winners of the competitions will also be awarded with their certificates today.
