Indian National arrested over match-fixing

An Indian citizen, the proprietor of the ‘Galle Marvels’ team in the Lanka T10 Super League, has been taken into custody by the police on suspicion of involvement in match-fixing.

He was reportedly apprehended in Pallekele, Kandy, for allegedly contacting a player to manipulate match outcomes and is scheduled to be presented in court tomorrow.
