Tharindu wins “Sanctuary Asia Wildlife Photographer of the Year” award

Tharindu Dilshan Sendanayake has won the award for the best wildlife photography of the year in the “Sanctuary Asia Wildlife Photographer of the Year” competition.

The competition was held in Mumbai, India. Started by the famous Bitu Sagal, this tournament has been running since 1981.  Accordingly, Tharindu Dilshan Sendanayake is the first Sri Lankan photographer to win this award. This is also a unique achievement for all wildlife photographers in this country.
