Condé Nast mag. picks SL as 3rd best holiday destination

The globally popular Condé Nast Traveller magazine published by Condé Nast Publications Ltd, from Westminster, London has picked Sri Lanka as the third best destination in the world to go on holiday in January 2025.

The Philippines has been selected as the number one most people’s bucket list and in second place is Dolomites Mountain range in Italy. The magazine has picked Sri Lanka as the third best destination to travel .

“Days are sunny, dry and hot, while evenings are similarly balmy in January, so it’s a perfect option for escaping the northern hemisphere’s chill. Many beautiful Indian Ocean destinations offer little more than beach time and international dining.”

Barbados, Caribbean is in fourth place while Thailand, Val d’Isere in France are in the fifth and sixth. In seventh place is Porto, Portugal while Mexico, Rwanda in Africa and the Japanese Alps are in eighth ninth and tenth place.
