Former Minister Indradasa Hettiarachchi passes away

Former Minister Indradasa Hettiarachchi passed away at the age of 97 on Saturday. He was one of the oldest living politicians in the country.

He was elected as a Member of Parliament, representing Horana at the Eighth Parliamentary Election held on July 21, 1977. He held the Ministerial portfolio for Industries. The cremation will take place at 3.30 pm on Wednesday at the grounds of the Indradasa Hettiarachchi Foundation in Henegama, Pokunuwita.
