AHK Sri Lanka welcomes New Year
The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka (AHK Sri Lanka) welcomed the New Year at a spectacular reception held at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo on January 23.
The event brought together representatives of over 300 German brands present in Sri Lanka, along with key business representatives and journalists.
This year, AHK Sri Lanka had the distinct privilege of welcoming Tobias Pierlings, Director and Head of Division for External Economic Policy South and Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), as the Chief Guest.
The event was further graced by the presence of Olaf Malchow, Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Colombo. Their participation underscored the enduring partnership between Sri Lanka and Germany while highlighting the potential for expanding bilateral economic cooperation in the years to come.
