Young man shot dead in Kosgoda

A 23-year-old man has been shot dead in the Kosgoda area early this morning (31), police confirmed.

According to Police Media Spokesman, two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle carried out the shooting around 5:15 a.m. in the Duwamodara area of Kosgoda.

Initial investigations reveal that a T-56 assault rifle was used in the attack.

Kosgoda Police have launched further investigations into the incident. (Newswire)
