No disruption expected to Colombo’s water supply

The risk at the Ambatale and Biyagama water purification plants has now eased, following the earlier rise in water levels of the Kelani River.

As a result, uninterrupted water supply to the Western Province — especially the Colombo District — can be maintained without disruption, Water Board Chairman Eng. Chandana Bandara said.
