Opposition leaders to discuss Middle East crisis at Parliament

A special discussion among opposition party leaders on the prevailing military situation in the Middle East is scheduled for today (03 Mar) at the Parliament complex.

It is reported that this discussion is scheduled for this morning at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition located in Parliament under the leadership of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.

According to reports, the meeting will discuss matters concerning Sri Lankans working in that region affected due to the conflicts arising in the Middle East region.

Opposition leaders are also expected to deliberate on potential implications for Sri Lanka arising from the situation and convey their observations to the government. (Newswire)
