Namal Rajapaksa appoints district organisers to strengthen SLPP grassroots

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organizer Namal Rajapaksa has appointed new district organisers as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure ahead of upcoming political activities.

Chinthaka Amal Mayadunna was appointed as the National Convener of the Sri Lanka Podujana Senior Citizens and Peace Judges Organisation.

For the Colombo District, K.G. Madushan Harindra, Janith Kashan, Harini Wijetunga and actress Ruwanthi Mangala Perera were appointed as district organisers.

Meanwhile, K. Ramakrishnan and Ravindran Haresh were appointed as district coordinators representing the plantation worker community in the Nuwara Eliya District.

The appointment letters were handed over at the SLPP headquarters at Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla, with SLPP General Secretary Attorney-at-Law Sagara Kariyawasam also attending the event. (Newswire)
