A three-hour water cut will be imposed in several Colombo areas from April 2 to April 10 due to a water shortage, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
According to the NWSDB, water supply will be interrupted from 10.00 pm to 1.00 am on every other day in Pamankada, Battaramulla, Wellawatte, Nawala and surrounding areas.
Authorities said the temporary water cuts are being implemented to manage limited water supply, and residents in affected areas are advised to use water sparingly and make necessary arrangements during the period.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board also urged the public to conserve water as the shortage continues. (Newswire)
