CBSL Rates : USD selling rate drops to Rs. 336

The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated significantly against the US Dollar today (15), compared to last Friday, with the selling rate dropping to Rs. 336. 

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs.  331.42 to Rs.  326.34, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 341.36 to Rs. 336.58.

The Sri Lankan Rupee has also appreciated significantly against a basket of foreign currencies, including the Australian and Canadian Dollars, the Euro, the Sterling Pound and the Swiss Franc. 

However, the Rupee has depreciated significantly against some Gulf currencies, including the Bahrain and Kuwait Dinars, and the Oman Rial. (Newswire)
