Suspect arrested with over 100g of ‘ICE’ in Vavuniya

A 39-year-old man has been arrested with 100 grams and 310 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as ‘Ice’, in the Sobalapuliyankulam area of Vavuniya.

Police said the suspect was arrested during a raid conducted on Friday (31) by officers of the Poovarasankulam Police Station following a tip-off.

The suspect is a resident of Vavuniya. Poovarasankulam Police are conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
