Two nabbed while selling gajamuthu

Two persons including an Army deserter were arrested while they were attempting to sell two elephant pearls (gajamuthu) in Kekirawa.
The two were arrested by Hureegaswewa Police and Kalundegama Army Intelligence Unit officers on a tip-off received on Tuesday (29).
The suspects who are 38 years of age are from Moneragala and Thambuththegama.
The suspects and the pearls are to be produced before the Kekirawa Magistrate.
