Three schoolgirls reported missing in Balangoda
Police in Balangoda have launched investigations after three 17‑year‑old schoolgirls from the Pinnawala–Ellarawa area were reported missing.
According to police, the girls, all students of a leading school in Balangoda, left their homes yesterday (31) to attend an extra class but failed to return.
Their parents subsequently lodged a complaint with the Balangoda Police Station.
Authorities, together with the parents, have appealed to the public to provide any information regarding the missing girls via the following contact numbers;
